Dr. Mohamed Mahrasawi, President of Al-Azhar University has visited the headquarters of the Muslim Council of Elders in Abu Dhabi and met its team along with His Excellency Mohamed Abdul-Salam, the Secretary General of the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity. 

Dr. Mahrasawi conveyed the greetings of His Eminence Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Council to its staff while praising the efforts put into achieving its noble goals while encouraging the team to begin planning for new international projects and initiatives that will show the world the true and tolerant face of Islam.
