Muslim Council of Elders Strongly Condemns Renewed Iranian Aggression on the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

30 July 2026

The Muslim Council of Elders, under the chairmanship of His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, strongly condemns the renewed Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The Council reaffirms its categorical rejection of these attacks, which constitute a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of states, a direct threat to their security and stability, and a dangerous escalation that undermines regional peace and security.

The Muslim Council of Elders emphasizes that the continuation of such attacks contravenes the principles of good-neighborly relations, international law, and the United Nations Charter.

The Muslim Council of Elders renews its unequivocal solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and reaffirms its support for all measures they undertake to safeguard their security and stability, thereby contributing to the strengthening of regional security and the preservation of regional peace and stability.
