The Muslim Council of Elders, under the chairmanship of His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, strongly condemns the aggression carried out by Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian city of Jenin and its refugee camp, resulting in various casualties.

The Council affirms its unequivocal rejection of the heinous attack carried out by Israeli occupation forces and the crimes committed against innocent civilians, medical personnel, healthcare centers, and the targeting of homes and mosques. It calls upon the international community as well as the Arab and Islamic worlds to urgently take action to halt these heinous crimes against the Palestinian people and support their just right to establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
