Under the Chairmanship of the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Muslim Council of Elders extends its condolences to Datuk Dr. Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri, Malaysia's former Minister of Religious Affairs and member of the Muslim Council of Elders, for the passing of his son Hammad Zulkifli.

The Council also extends its condolences to Senator Al-Bakri's family while praying that Almighty Allah grants them patience during this difficult period. To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.
