The Muslim Council of Elders takes part in the proceedings of the 9th Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), held on November 22- 23, in Fez, Kingdom of Morocco, under the theme: “Towards an Alliance of Peace: Living Together as One Humanity.”

The Muslim Council of Elders is set to organize an interactive thematic session on Wednesday during the forum, engaging with religious leaders from across faith spectrum to discuss the role of religious leaders in promoting peace, mutual respect, and social harmony. The session will feature the participation of the Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Elders Judge Mohamed Abdelsalam, along with several religious leaders from around the world. Mr. Adama Dieng, Special Adviser to the Muslim Council of Elders and former UN Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide, will moderate the session.
